If you are a Henrico County resident and live in a single family detached home accessible from a public road curbside recycling collection service is available to you through the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA). This service is free to county residents and collections are every other week.

Trees can be dropped off anytime at the Henrico Government Center and Eastern Government Center and from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at the Springfield Road and Charles City Road public use areas. Trees must be free of tinsel, lights, ornaments, tree stands and water bowls.

Fees for Usage

The cost to the resident for trash disposal is $3.00 per trip. The $3.00 fee includes up to 4 tires, the charge for more than 4 tires is $1.00 per tire. Residents may also save money by purchasing ticket books (10 tickets for $27.00 or a book of 15 tickets for $40.00). Each ticket is good for one trip.

Citizens report violations by calling (804) 501-4757 or by online form. Inspectors also canvas their assigned areas for properties in violation of Henrico County Zoning Environmental Ordinances. Staff enters the reported violation in the parcel management software.

The Greeley Organic Waste Center is available for use by Greeley and Weld County residents to recycle green waste such as grass clippings, leaves, and branches.
