18 suspects charged in Moore County drug bust (2024)

Eighteen suspects have been charged in a Moore County drug bust, according to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

Fields announced the arrests Tuesday following an extensive undercover drug operation in the Robbins, Carthage, Vass, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen.

The 18 Individuals were arrested on a combined total of 211 charges for distribution of drugs such as heroin, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, and prescription medication. Other individual charges included misdemeanor child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Arrested:

Vincent Earl McRae, 32, Aberdeen:

Charges- (6 counts) Possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule I controlled substance, (6 counts) sell schedule I controlled substance, (6 counts) deliver schedule I controlled substance, (6 counts) felony possession of schedule I controlled substance, trafficking in opium or heroin and (6 counts) possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alexis Victoria Garner, 29, Whispering Pines:

Charges- Possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II-controlled substance, sell schedule II controlled substance, deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond: $10,000 Unsecured.

Amanda Lynn Walker, 36, Aberdeen:

Charges- (3 counts) Possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, (3 counts) sell schedule II controlled substance, (3 counts) deliver schedule II controlled substance, (3 counts) possession of methamphetamine, (3 counts) maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, (2 counts) conspire to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, (5 counts) misdemeanor child abuse and (3 counts) possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond: $100,000 Secured.

Sammy Ray Comer, 42, Aberdeen:

Charges- Possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II-controlled substance, sell schedule II controlled substance, deliver schedule II controlled substance, possess methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond: $10,000 Unsecured.

Curtis Terrill McCrimmon, 33, Vass:

Charges- (3 counts) Possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, (2 counts) possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, (3 counts) sell schedule II controlled substance, (2 counts) sell cocaine, (3 counts) deliver schedule II controlled substance, (2 counts) deliver cocaine, (4 counts) conspire to sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, (2 counts) conspire to sell/deliver cocaine and (2 counts) maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances.

Bond: $25,000 Unsecured.

James Stanley Stewart, 73, Carthage:

Charges- Possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule IV controlled substance, sell schedule IV controlled substance, deliver schedule IV-controlled substance, simple possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond: $7,500 Secured.

Laurie Nicole Wright, 39, Robbins:

Charges- Possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, sell methamphetamine, deliver methamphetamine, conspire to sell methamphetamine, conspire to deliver methamphetamine, maintain a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, misdemeanor child abuse, contribute to delinquency of juvenile and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reshaun Carlito Christopher Walker, 20, Aberdeen:

Charges- (5 counts) Possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, (10 counts) sell and deliver marijuana,(5 counts) maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, (5 counts) simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance and (5 counts) possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Bond: $25,000 Secured.

Timmy Oswaldo Locklear, 29, Eagle Springs:

Charges- Possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, sell schedule II controlled substance, deliver schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond: $50,000 Secured.

Malik Jalill Newsome, 24, Aberdeen:

Charges- Possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, (2 counts) sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Bond: $7,500 Secured.

Amanda Bray Smith, 40, Robbins:

Charges- (2 counts) Possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, (2 counts) sell methamphetamine, (2 counts) deliver methamphetamine, (2 counts) conspire to sell methamphetamine, (2 counts) conspire to deliver methamphetamine, possession of heroin, (3counts) maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances and (3 counts) possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charges- Possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, (2 counts) sell and deliver cocaine, (2 counts) conspire to sell and deliver cocaine, (4 counts) sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, (2 counts) conspire to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance and (3 counts) maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances.
